“Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.”

Everything about this photo was strange and different for me. Using strobes and a wide angle lens, things I've never used before. Melissa and I shot the photos, Dawn modeled, and I edited. The concept is Melissa's. Originally our idea was to lean the piano against the wall tilted on it's back wheels. We had moved it from it's original location in another room but when we went to tilt it, well, tragedy. We weren't able to lift it back upright. And thinking back this house was so water damaged we're lucky it didn't fall through the floor. But what can we say, we're photographers not piano movers

There will be another photo with this piano and Melissa we hoped would make it into the concept but I feel took away from the overall story of it. But it deserves an upload on it's own.
